I've been back in Scotland for over a week now and the time has just flown by. I did get offered the job I was interviewed for on the day I returned to the UK - but I'm still unemployed. At the moment I have no regrets about refusing the offer - I suppose I will just have to wait and see if I feel the same way in several months time when I have suffered rejection after rejection and all my savings have been spent!
